How can we help?

Live Translator support: info@quantvault.ai

Start a conversation

  1. Select the language being spoken and the language to translate into.
  2. Open Audio & offline settings and prepare translation languages while connected to the internet.
  3. Tap the microphone and allow Microphone and Speech Recognition access.
  4. Speak one phrase at a time. Pause to hear the translation. The microphone resumes after playback.

Translation minutes

The minute-pack version starts with 20 free minutes. Only recognized source speech in successfully translated final phrases counts. Silence, translated playback, typed text, failed translations, and microphone-paused time do not count. Tap Get minutes to buy a non-renewing pack through Apple. Purchased minutes do not expire. Apple does not restore used consumable purchases; the balance stays securely on this iPhone and may be preserved by a supported Keychain backup, but it does not sync automatically to another device.

Use Bluetooth headphones

Pair your headphones in iPhone Settings. Choose Phone microphone to capture someone near your phone, or Headset microphone to capture the headset wearer. Select the output with the route button or Control Center. Headset microphone mode normally sends playback to that same headset. Disconnecting stops audio; reconnect and tap the microphone again.

Use offline

Download translation languages first, keep On-device speech only enabled, and test your chosen pair before travelling. On-device speech is unavailable for some languages or devices. If you explicitly turn off that setting, unsupported on-device speech may use Apple's online recognition and send audio to Apple. Buying or loading minute packs requires internet access.

Saved phrases

Only explicitly saved phrases persist. Use Export saved translations to share a JSON copy. Delete a single phrase or choose Delete all saved translations and confirm. Shared copies are outside the app's control.

Recording stopped?

Keep the app open. Locking the phone or moving the app to the background stops audio. Calls and route changes can pause recording. Read the notice, check permissions in Settings, and restart with the microphone button.

Report a problem

Email your iPhone model, iOS version, language pair, and headset model. Do not include private conversations or recordings. Translation can make mistakes; verify important details independently.
